Our planet Earth was previously ruled by a wide variety of animals. The lands were dominated by lions, bears and elephants. The seas were dominated by dolphins, whales and sharks. The skies were ruled by eagles, owls and vultures. But now we humans rule everything; We are the rulers of the lands, seas and skies. Wherever we go with our cars, ships and planes, lions, dolphins and eagles must get out of our way, and very quickly! Animals cannot prevent us from passing through their forests. When we build dams on their rivers, they can't stop us. They cannot stop us from polluting the oceans and skies. In fact, humans are so powerful that the fate of all other animals is in our hands. Lions, dolphins and eagles are still alive because we let them live. If we wanted to get rid of all the lions, dolphins and eagles in the world, we could do it in a year. This is a great power that can be used for both good and evil. To be human, we must understand this power we have and what we can do with it. And for this we must first know how we obtain this power. We humans are not strong like lions, we cannot swim like dolphins, and of course we do not have wings! So how did we become rulers of the planet?
